Evaluating the methods of Children, Student, Family ministry within a congregation is difficult. Success of efforts aimed at these “specialty groups” is often measured by the degree of participation and enthusiasm promised or produced. There is desire within some churches for a greater philosophy/deeper theology to guide next generation ministry. Spiritual formation is one such vision.

TEACH the nature of God, language of the Church, and characters of the Bible, with age-appropriate truth and detail – so that children are made wise for salvation: confessing faith in Christ Jesus, continuing to follow Him as Shepherd & Lord, comprehending the written Word of God as the theology for life.
VALUE the worth & meaning of each child through keen observation, planned interaction, and relationship crafted around personal traits of each.
INFLUENCE each child with an authentic faith, acts of kindness, the authority of structure, and strategic appeals to adulthood
